Following on from the fire that completely damaged green spare Optare Solo SR 343, it was to be dead and gone, meaning the number of green spare Optare Solo SR's in NCT's fleet was reduced from four to three. 342 remains to be the first green spare Optare Solo SR numerically though, the bus seen here turning right onto Collin St with a Bridgford Bus 8 service to City Loop, the blind already reset ahead of its next journey to Wilford Hill.
