Due to the stock shortage with two 156's on refurbishment etc., a four car 222 saw use on the Lincoln/Leicester local stopping services today. 222102 is seen arriving at Nottingham Station before departing on the 13:29 service to Lincoln Central, calling at Newark Castle, Collingham, Swinderby, Hykeham and Lincoln Central and with the first class on this one being declassified. Quite an upgrade on this service over a sprinter and I think these types suit the route.
