Due to the green 11 branded Optare Solo SR of 331 being involved in an accident with a pedestrian on 18.09.2019 in which the man sadly lost his life, it was decided that 331 should spend some time off the road. I can only assume they have done this because of either damage to the bus or investigation work involving it. Only one outcome has happened since the accident and that is a spare bus appearing on the route as cover, as illustrated here with 353, a green spare Optare Solo SR, it seen here on Carrington Street with an 11 to Lady Bay vice the green 11 branded variant of 331.
