Nottingham City Transport 238 (28.11.2019)

From one way to another!

238, a Y reg plate Old Optare Solo, helps out on Bridgford Bus 7, it seen on Bridgford Road in the first shot and then Victoria Embankment in the second shot and these as seen having come within about five minutes or just over I believe. In the end, late running resulted in one or two spares filling in and I believe the other Y reg in 237 might have covered too on this route!
Nottingham City Transport 376 (28.11.2019)

Over on one side of the Bridgford Bus 5 today, I think it was a case of one branded ADL Enviro 200 MMC and two spare buses, one new style spare Optare Solo SR and this green spare ADL Enviro 200 right here, all running the service! The newer spare bus in 376 gave me the biggest tick in the book though and here, the bus is seen whilst working for the 5 and with an interior shot too of the bus and I will have to say that because the Bridgford Bus network now has MMC's on in the main, it was nice to see a bus like this back on this route!
Nottingham City Transport 309 (28.11.2019)

The ying to 399's yang this is as, while 399 is a full length new style spare ADL Enviro 200 MMC, this bus is the short wheelbase new style spare variant, which can be used on any one of the midi-bus routes although when a Bridgford Bus branded variant is off the road, this will most likely be used on Bridgford Bus, as illustrated here. 309 is seen here arriving at Kingston Road bus stop on Musters Road with a 9 to City Loop and as the bottom shot will illustrate, no advertising inside! I guess that's how MMC's should be then!

Nottingham City Transport 308 (27.11.2019)

As the new ADL Enviro 200 MMC's have now fully entered service, it means NCT's order of buses this year is now complete with no more orders for new buses expected for the foreseeable future. 308 for the Bridgford Bus set of midi-bus routes, complete with a perhaps regular driver for green line at the helm, is now seen on Musters Road with an 8 to City Loop. This bus was the one that was running late on this service originally, hence 377, a green spare ADL Enviro 200, filling in an 8 to Rushcliffe School.
Nottingham City Transport 922 (27.11.2019)

Same route, different new style spare this time as 922, a new style spare Optare OmniDekka, works a service for Nottingham.
Nottingham City Transport 620 (27.11.2019)

As a Bridgford Bus 6 branded bio-gas ADL Enviro 400 CBG City was on green 10 today, which I didn't catch, two diesel powered spares were on the 6 instead and they were both differing spares too! 620 is a standard ADL Enviro 400 in the new style spare livery and it was one such bus that was allocated the 6 and here, the bus is seen on Carrington Street with a service for Edwalton.
Nottingham City Transport 377 (27.11.2019)

Here are some interior shots of green spare ADL Enviro 200 377, the bus as seen on a Bridgford Bus 8 working to Rushcliffe School only.
Nottingham City Transport 377 (27.11.2019)

I might not get as many ticks in the book on Bridgford Bus from now on but this may go down for the count as 377, a green spare ADL Enviro 200, heads away from Kingston Road bus stop on Musters Road just after dropping me off there as it nears Rushcliffe School on an 8.
Nottingham City Transport 377 (27.11.2019)

The other Bridgford Bus route I saw 377 on today was the 8, as illustrated here and I decided to ditch the new style spare ADL Enviro 400 of 620 on Bridgford Bus 6 from today in favour of this green spare half the size of it! 377 arrives at Nottingham Station to pick me up while on an 8 to Rushcliffe School only.
Nottingham City Transport 377 (27.11.2019)

Given Bridgford Bus now has new ADL Enviro 200 MMC's for the route, I was surprised to see one of the standard versions on Bridgford Bus work and this bus did do other routes as well today but this here was most likely where the more unusual workings came in... well this bus was used as a backup today due to late running from one or two original branded MMC's. The first route I spotted this bus on was the 7 and here, the bus is seen on Carrington Street for Nottingham only.

East Midlands Railway 43081/43045 (26.11.2019)

As I think the two spare first class coaches in 41113 and 41063 were taken up in other HST sets, one HST set was reduced to seven cars from the usual eight as a result. 43081 and 43045, brings in a seven car HST set from London St Pancras before later heading back out to the capital on the 12:45 service and with the formation being minus 41111, hence it being 44044, 42137, 42136, 42135, 42339, 40754, 41070 and nothing but.

Nottingham City Transport 237 (25.11.2019)

Here is an interior shot of Y reg plate Old Optare Solo 237, the bus as seen on green 11.
Nottingham City Transport 237 (25.11.2019)

As the new Bridgford Bus ADL Enviro 200 MMC's were out on the road today, it meant that the  interest in green line midi-bus allocations in the most part turned to green 11 and I guess a Y reg plate Old Optare Solo on this route will suffice! 237 arrives at Victoria Centre bus stop to pick me up while on an 11 to Lady Bay.
Nottingham City Transport 301/237 (25.11.2019)

Now here's something for the books! Yes, that's right as it's one of the newest buses alongside one of the oldest, as illustrated right here! 301, a Bridgford Bus branded ADL Enviro 200 MMC, and 237, a Y reg plate Old Optare Solo, are both seen on Carrington Street, 301 with a 9 from Wilford Hill via West Bridgford and Trent Bridge and 237 with a green 11 service to Lady Bay via The Meadows and Trent Bridge.
Nottingham City Transport 356 (25.11.2019)

Acting as a spare bus here with its dark green base to boot, all of the Bridgford Bus branded Optare Solo SR's have been split between Trent Bridge and Gotham to oust all of the Scania OmniTowns. 356 heads down Market Street with an 11 to Lady Bay and if I am not to be mistaken, this bus took over very early on from a green spare variant in 352 to work the route.
Nottingham City Transport 356 (25.11.2019)

Due to late running on the 5 from one of the new ADL Enviro 200 MMC's for Bridgford Bus, one of the former Optare Solo SR's was temporarily forced off green 11 to cover a Bridgford Bus 5 service instead. 356 is seen arriving at Victoria Centre with an 11 from Lady Bay before waiting time before then taking away a 5 to Gamston.
Nottingham City Transport 305 (25.11.2019)

Out goes the old Bridgford Bus livery and in comes the new Bridgford Bus livery!

305, an ADL Enviro 200 MMC, is seen here in Nottingham City Centre with a 9 to Wilford Hill.
Nottingham City Transport 3095.11.2019)

While a longer new style silver spare variation in 399 was on 39's today, this new style silver spare ADL Enviro 200 MMC was on Bridgford Bus 7, as illustrated here. 309 is seen here in Nottingham City Centre with a 7 to Gamston.
Nottingham City Transport 309 (25.11.2019)

Alongside the branded ADL Enviro 200 MMC's, one of the new style silver spares was also in use today on the network, as here illustrates and I think all of the MMC's were out today. 309 was definitely out there today though, it seen on Carrington Street with a 7 to Gamston.
This may not be the best shot of an interior of an ADL Enviro 200 MMC but loads of people were on board at the time when these shots were taken but this is what the interior of one looks like and these also feature the white colour lights unlike Trent Barton's versions. I guess that NCT's versions are the better ones on terms of the light colour then! Of course, they are nice buses, so thumbs up already on these and thumbs down on the Optare Solo SR's!
Nottingham City Transport 305 (25.11.2019)

Proving that Trent Barton don't just have ADL Enviro 200 MMC's, 305 for Bridgford Bus demonstrates NCT's use of these bus types, the bus seen here on Upper Parliament Street with a 9 to Wilford Hill.
Nottingham City Transport 306 (25.11.2019)

Following on from the withdrawal of a silver spare Scania OmniLink in 306 and way back at that, a different 306 emerged today in the form of an ADL Enviro 200 MMC for Bridgford Bus, as illustrated here. 306 is seen here on Carrington Street with a 7 to Gamston.
Nottingham City Transport 308 (25.11.2019)

Now there's a bonus! Rear glass windows on the new ADL Enviro 200 MMC's! I like that!

308 for the Bridgford Bus set of midi-bus routes is seen on Carrington Street with a 5 to City Loop.
Nottingham City Transport 303 (25.11.2019)

Not the best shot here but 303, a brand new Bridgford Bus ADL Enviro 200 MMC, is featured here as the bus heads towards the end of Meadows Way with an 8 to City Loop.
Nottingham City Transport 307/301/304 (25.11.2019)

Due to late running from some ADL Enviro 200 MMC's, it meant some were not far behind each other, given perhaps on time running for some too. 307, 301 and 304 are seen on Carrington Street, them as seen within a few minutes or a bit more between each other, 307 on an 8 to Wilford Hill, 301 on a late running 9 to Wilford Hill and 304 on a 7 to Gamston.
