Although these HST sets are due to be withdrawn by the end of the year, it seems as if one of the buffet cars East Midlands Railway own has seemingly had some time at the workshop it seems, with either the bogies cleaned or new bogies placed on the mark III, as illustrated here. 40754 is seen here in one of the EMR Intercity sets as the train arrives at Nottingham Station from London St Pancras. In the end, the spare London North Eastern Railway buffet car in 40751 had been on this set but obviously this buffet car was available for selection. Goodbye mix and match set then!
