As well as two spares being on Bridgford Bus 8, another spare was also out on Bridgford Bus 5 and the oldest spare bus in NCT's fleet saw use on it, as illustrated here. 237, a Y reg plate Old Optare Solo, is seen arriving at Mellors Road bus stop on Melton Road to pick me up while on a 5 to City Loop.
