East Midlands Railway 156406 (16.12.2019)

Following on from overhaul, this 156 has now emerged in the new East Midlands Railway livery with a white base and purple doors. Now it looks like a Greater Anglia 156 but with the as said purple doors instead of red and speaking of Greater Anglia, some 156's will join the fleet very soon indeed, so watch this space! In the meantime though, the attention turns to 156503 as the train is seen here at Nottingham Station before eventually heading into Eastcroft sidings where the train is also seen. In the end, this was replaced by a 158 on the Mansfield Woodhouse/Worksop runs because of a problem on this train that in turn led to the cancellation of the 13:55 Mansfield Woodhouse service.
