Nottingham City Transport 919 (31.07.2020)

While two bio-gas ADL Enviro 400 CBG City spares ended up on green 10 today, the Bridgford Bus 6 route was where I found a winner... somehow! 919, a new style spare Optare OmniDekka, is seen on Trevor Road and Stamford Road with a 6 to Edwalton.

As a massive tick in the book opportunity with 309 on navy 3 had gone due to the ADL Enviro 200 MMC spare being swapped for an Optare Solo SR spare in the form of 344, I turned my eyes away from that route despite the fact that a spare ADL Enviro 200 in the form of 377 was it as well, which meant I decided to head to a new location for me to photograph one of the Optare OmniDekka spares on the Bridgford Bus 6 route, as illustrated here. 919 heads on Alford Road with a 6 to City Loop.

DB Cargo UK 60040 'The Territorial Army Centenary' (29.07.2020)

Another day and more empty steel to Boston and 60040 is seen taking charge of an empty steel train bound for Boston Sleaford Sidings as it heads through Nottingham Station on platform 7.

DB Cargo UK 60010 (29.07.2020)

After a crew change, DB Cargo's 60010 heads out of Nottingham Station with the Lindsey oil Refinery-Kingsbury Oil Sidings loaded oil tanks and with one green VTG tank, one brown VTG tank and 28 grey EWS tanks making up the somwehat rather mundane consist.

East Midlands Railway 222001 'The Entrepreneur Express' (29.07.2020)

The current daily seven car 222 allocation and while normally HST operated, this is one such service to see seven car 222's in use, as illustrated here. 222001 arrives at Nottingham from London St Pancras before waiting time before then departing back out on the 14:45 service.

East Midlands Railway 222104 (29.07.2020)

After the red HST set had gone, I was nearly caught off guard when 222104 in the new EMR Intercity purple livery made an appearance! 222104 in its four car formation arrives at Nottingham instead of the usual five car variation before waiting time before then departing back out to the Capital on the 13:12 service.

East Midlands Railway 43309/43317 (29.07.2020)

The only current red set in service with East Midlands Railway is the now NL51 numbered one and unlike its LNER days, this set now operates with eight coaches instead of nine, as here illustrates. 43309 and 43317 arrive at Nottingham from London St Pancras before waiting time before departing back out to the Capital on the 11:45 service.
