Cross Country 220002 (24.05.2021)

Following on from the Cross Country timetable change, the Voyagers cam now appear regularly on any one of the Nottingham/Birmingham New Street/Cardiff Central services, as illustrated here. 220002 arrives at Nottingham from Birmingham New Street before waiting time before then heading back out on the 10:07 service to Cardiff Central. The unit is then seen arriving at Nottingham on its return from the Welsh capital.

Cross Country 221144 (24.05.2021)

One of Cross Country's more unusual breed, this is one of four of the four car Super Voyagers that they have and today saw me catch up with it, as illustrated here. 221144 arrives at Nottingham on a service from Cardiff Central before heading on an ECS to Eastcroft sidings after waiting time. The unit is then seen having arrived from the sidings before waiting time before then heading out on the 14:41 service to Birmingham New Street.

The OmniDekkas aren't uncommon visitors around this area considering that the Bridgford Bus 6 and green 10 routes used to use 08 plate versions while the 4 (currently suspended) uses 61 plate versions the same as this except as branded forms of course unlike this bus, which is one of ten 61 plate spares in the fleet, as illustrated here. 921 heads towards Trent Bridge on a 6 to City Loop.

Now a vast array of the OmniDekkas are in the spare livery now, they can effectively be found on any double-decker route out of Parliament Street, as illustrated here. 921 is seen outside Nottingham Station with a 6 to Edwalton.

Now in the new style spare livery, 921, an Optare OmniDekka, heads on Carrington Street over and past one of the Midland Mainline terminus points that is Nottingham Station with a Bridgford Bus 6 service to City Loop.
