Nottingham City Transport 901 (30.10.2021)

How 912 didn't end up on the 6 all day I don't know but the green 10 route did have one of the OmniDekkas on it during the day, as illustrated here. 901 is seen on Loughborough Road with a 10 to Ruddington.

Nottingham City Transport 912 (30.10.2021)

Originally having been on the orange 36 route after one of their bio-gas buses presumably came off the route, this OmniDekka was to then be seen on the 6 after one of their bio-gas buses in the form of 403 came off. 912 is seen on Stamford Road with a 6 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 429 (30.10.2021)

I'm the UK's greenest bus!

429, a 17 plate bio-gas spare, is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 429 (30.10.2021)

Also on the 6 during the daytime today was one of the slightly newer 17 plate bio-gas spares, as illustrated here. 429 heads out of Central Avenue in West Bridgford with a 6 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 426 'Albert Ball VC' (30.10.2021)

Talk about BBC London's Sonja Jessup being creeped out by a clown on a house during a live segment with BBC London reporter Luke Hanrahan as some creepy characters must have creeped some people out here! Must have been the day before Halloween and there was a pumpkin event happening too! As of the trick or treat on my account, a case of treats rather than tricks greeted me today on the 6 when spares were on offer, this being one of them! 426, a 17 plate bio-gas spare, is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (30.10.2021)

Melton Road MMC spare...

309 heads on Melton Road with a 5 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (30.10.2021)

When the short wheelbase MMC spare returned, the incorrect display was on show, so I elected to snap it as a result. 309 is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with a 5 to City Loop, not Gamston as advertised.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (30.10.2021)

The spares on Bridgford's did mostly take a while to get today due to the gas works on Bridgford Road but all were eventually caught by the camera, including the short wheelbase MMC spare on the 5, as illustrated here. 309 is seen on Bridgford Road with a 5 to Gamston.

Kinchbus 733 (30.10.3021)

Currently interworking are the 2 and 9 for Kinchbus and even some spares were in attendance on both routes today, this being one of them! 733, an ex. Mickleover and ex, Cotgrave Volvo, is seen on Loughborough Road in the new Kinchbus livery with a 9 to Loughborough.

Trent Barton 110 (30.10.2021)

Tracked on bustimes.org on Bridgford Road operating The Cotgrave service. In the end, this bus was on the Indigo route before moving to The Calverton before the branded vehicle of 708 was most likely available for service, hence why the buses were swapped, an Indigo run following for the Mango spare before then moving to The Cotgrave to replace fellow Mango spare 216.

Trent Barton 216 (30.10.2021)

The Cotgrave route hardly sees anything spare during the day but as and when required, the allocations will tend to be in the form of any one of the MMC's, as illustrated here. 216 is seen on Bridgford Road with The Cotgrave to Cotgrave.

Trent Barton 109 (30.10.2021)

Gas works outside of Central Avenue really made for a wait in between snapping the spare buses I wanted for documenting today but it was well worth the wait when they came and 109, a Mango spare MMC, was another down for the count, it seen entering Central Avenue in West Bridgford with a Mainline to Bingham.

Trent Barton 217 (30.10.2021)

The other two spares on Mainline today were running behind the Solo SR spare during the daytime and both were to be seen in the hands of MMC's as if they couldn't be anything else after what I looked at on bustimes.org as it told me that two MMC's were on order, this being one of them! 217, one of the 18 plates originally from the Indigo batch of MMC's, is seen on the approach to Central Avenue in West Bridgford with a Mainline to Bingham.

Trent Barton 506 (30.10.2021)

Back in 2014, Trent Barton took delivery of six new 63 plate Optare Solo SR's, all of which first saw use on the old Xprss route whilst the Optare Tempos were being refurbished for the newer Rushcliffe Greens route. The six Solo SR's then saw use with the Tempos on the new Rushcliffe Greens route before five were then branded up for the Rushcliffe Villager route whilst the Tempos were branded up for the Rushcliffe Mainline route. Three of the Solo SR's were then painted up for the Spondon Flyer route before one was then repainted and transferred to Kinchbus. As for this Solo SR here, this was repainted out of the Rushcliffe Greens livery and into the red spare livery and this could be seen originally with the old Mango advertising before then being given the new Mango advertising. Today saw it out on the Mainline route in place of a branded ADL Enviro 200 MMC, as illustrated here. 506 is seen in West Bridgford with a Mainline to Bingham.

East Midlands Railway 180110 (29.10.2021)

Currently running as a four car unit at the moment is this 180 whilst one of the coaches spends time in Doncaster Wabtec with corrosion and normally four cars would come with the 222/1's with East Midlands Railway. 180110 is the temporary exception to the rule though and here, the unit is seen at Nottingham before departing with the 15:12 service to London St Pancras with first class as seen in coach D towards the front on departure.

Nottingham City Transport 501 (27.10.2021)

A slight upgrade to the 27 occurred today with a 19 plate bio-gas spare on the route, as illustrated here. 501 is seen on Lower Parliament Street with a 27 from Carlton. In the end, this bus got swapped for the OmniDekka spare of 911 later on in the late afternoon/early evening.

Nottingham City Transport 432 (27.10.2021)

One of the more rather mundane all day workings from today on the lilac routes with an 18 plate bio-gas spare on the 27. 432 is seen on Lower Parliament Street, the blind already reset for the next trip to Carlton.

Nottingham City Transport 634 (27.10.2021)

Not your usual cup of tea on this route but today saw one of the recent E400 repaints on the 25! 634, formerly a lime 58 and navy 48 bus, is seen on Lower Parliament Street, the blind already reset for the next 25 to Arnold.

Nottingham City Transport 418 (27.10.2021)

429, a 17 plate bio-gas spare, had been out on the 24/25 but the branded bio-gas vehicle was available for service and so the buses were swapped on King Street. 418 is seen on Lower Parliament Street as it spends the rest of the day or of its allotted time on the 25's to and from Arnold.

Nottingham City Transport 427 'HMS Sherwood' (27.10.2021)

The one other spare on the 77 today was of a more mundane affair with one of the bio-gas spares in attendance on the route, as illustrated here. 427 arrives at Victoria Centre with a 77 to Strelley.

Nottingham City Transport 912/924 (27.10.2021)

Not what you would usually see but two OmniDekkas on the 77 were running one behind the other, making for a somewhat rare occurrence! 912 leads proceedings into Victoria Centre with a 77 to Strelley whilst 924 brings up the rear on a 77 to the same destination, the pair having eventually left presumably out of shot in reverse order.
