Nottingham City Transport 349 (29.04.2022)

The extra 9B was a spare Solo SR this time round in the form of one of the former pink 30/31 variants, as illustrated here. 349 passes a Volkswagen Crafter van on Musters Road with the extra 9B to Wilford Hill.

Nottingham City Transport 347 (29.04.2022)

A worthy documentation from today was that of a navy 3 branded Solo SR on the extra 5 and that whilst two ex-Navy 3 spare variants in the form of 344 and 345 were out on the navy 3 route, neither of which I fussed about too much due to how mundane the workings were there.... well that compared to this, which was far from mundane considering the fact that it's mainly been a pink 30/31 branded Solo SR or a spare one most of the time! 347, a navy 3 branded Solo SR, is one for the count this time though, it seen on Melton Road with the extra 5 to Gamston. In the end, this bus would have done the duplicate pink workings for the 30 and 28 prior to this.

Nottingham City Transport 483 (23.04.2022)

A chance encounter from today was one of NCT's pink bio-gas Scanias with brand new destination displays, which I assume may be a trial before it's potentially introduced on NCT's fleet of double-deckers. What is definite though is that a tick in the book sees 483 with the new displays pictured here on Milton Street waiting to work a 28 to Bilborough.

Stagecoach East Midlands 10973 (23.04.2022)

The 19 plate Pronto branded MMC's do tend to be the more easier batch to find as there's much more of them than the 69 plates given that only four of those were ordered for the route. 10973 is one of the original batch of eleven 19 plates for the route though, the bus seen leaving Victoria Bus Station on a service to Mansfield.

Stagecoach East Midlands 11276 (23.04.2022)

Not seen this Pronto branded MMC for a while, so it was good to catch up with it today!

11276 leaves Victoria Bus Station on a service to Chesterfield.

Stagecoach East Midlands 11278 (23.04.2022)

The sole beachball MMC that Mansfield have
spent the day out on Pronto today, as illustrated
here. 11278 leaves Victoria Bus Station on a run
to Mansfield.

Stagecoach East Midlands 18425 (23.04.2022)

A couple of ALX 400's were to be seen on the Pronto route today, with 18416 carrying out two runs on the route with this one all day! 18425 leaves Victoria Bus Station on a service to Mansfield,

Stagecoach East Midlands 36999 (23.04.2022)

One of the ADL Enviro 200's also made its way onto the Pronto route in the form of one of the Stagecoach Local liveried variants, as illustrated here. 36999 leaves Victoria Bus Station on a service to Mansfield.

Stagecoach East Midlands 27787 (23.04.2022)

The Pronto route can often be known for seeing spare buses regularly but a healthy amount of spares were on the route today, including two TransBus Enviro 300's, such as this! 27787 arrives at Victoria Bus Station with a Pronto from Mansfield during a big gust of wind! No wonder why Stagecoach decided on using mainly single-deckers on this service during Storm Eunice back in February then!

Stagecoach East Midlands 27184 (23.04.2022)

One of the former Mansfield Miller but more so Pronto branded Enviro 300's was back out on its original home turf of the Pronto today, so I decided to catch up with it as a result. 27184 arrives at Victoria Bus Station on a service from Chesterfield before later departing on a service to Mansfield.

Stagecoach East Midlands 28613 (23.04.2022)

Just the one Sherwood Arrow allocation was a
single-decker today in the form of this Scania
K230UB ADL Enviro 300, as illustrated here.
28613 leaves Nottingham on the 11:20 service
to New Ollerton then Worksop.

Stagecoach East Midlands 15176 (23.04.2022)

Double-deckers for Stagecoach are regulars at Victoria Bus Station but mainly with the Pronto route, so to see any on the Sherwood Arrow does provide for something different even if Saturdays see double-deckers on it regularly! 15176branded for the Aspire 77 route arrives at Victoria Bus Station with a service from Worksop and New Ollerton before departing on the 12:20 service to New Ollerton and Retford.

Stagecoach East Midlands 15177 (23.04.2022)

Three of the Aspire branded E400's spent the day away from their usual haunts of the 77 today, two of which in favor of the Sherwood Arrow. 15177 leaves Victoria Bus Station on the 13:20 to New Ollerton then Worksop.

Stagecoach East Midlands 10897 (23.04.2022)

The Sherwood Arrow runs do see double-deckers on the services a lot on Saturdays and Gainsborough allocated two InterConnect MMC's to the route on this occasion, with one in the form of 10900 spending some time on the route before working a run on the 95 and then some runs on the 99 with this being on all day! 10897 leaves Victoria Bus Station on the 14:20 Sherwood Arrow service to New Ollerton then Retford.

DB Cargo UK 66025 (22.04.2022)

Due to a shortage of 60's, DB Cargo have been putting a fair amount of 66's on the tank workings of late and 66025 can exemplify this, it seen at Nottingham with the Humber Oil Refinery-Kingsbury Oil Sidings loaded oil tanks.

DB Cargo UK 66109 'Teesport Express' (22.04.2022)

One of DB's celebrity sheds ended up on something unusual today, as illustrated here. 66109 in PD Ports livery and with the name of Teesport Express on it is seen at Nottingham with the Lindsey Oil Refinery-Kingsbury Oil Sidings loaded oil tanks and with a shorter than usual rake of 16 tanks.

DB Cargo UK 60007 'The Spirit of Tom Kendell' (22.04.2022)

Following a Thursday in which I saw no tugs on three of the tank workings, one did appear today on at least one of them thank goodness and it was one of the specially branded ones too, which was a bonus! 60007 with the Switch on to Safety branding on it is seen at Nottingham with the Kingsbury Oil Sidings-Humber Oil Refinery empty tanks.

DB Cargo UK 60066 (22.04.2022)

Seen just after being bowled by a Cross Country Turbostar, what remains of 60066 can be pictured as visible as it passes Nottingham on the Bescot Down Side-Boston Sleaford Sidings empty steel.

DC Railfreight 60046 'William Wilberforce' (22.04.2022)

Seen at Nottingham Station, 60046 for DC Railfreight works through towards a signal check with the empty sand boxes from Chaddesden Sidings-Kings Lynn T.C.

Colas Railfreight 56096 (22.04.2022)

Seen at Nottingham Station, 56096 for Colas Railfreight passes through with the loaded spoil boxes from Doncaster Wood Yard-Longport (Pinnox Branch Esso Sidings).

Nottingham City Transport 426 'Albert Ball VC' (20.04.2022)

What was once one of the norms for this route, this temporarily isn't the case due to most of the bio-gas spares filling in on Browns and Purples, so I was happy when this bio-gas spare turned up on the green 10 route for a change! 426 is seen at Victoria Centre with a green 10 service to Ruddington.
