With the 70/71 now seeing the Yutongs in service, the 53/54 Solo SR's are the only branded examples left in the fleet but yet they're often seeing use away from their usual network in favor of extras for example. 359 is seen outside Victoria Centre with a 5 to Edwalton.

A morning on the 53B, 34 and 54B extras was followed on by extras for the 30, 28 and then Bridgford Bus for this 53/54 branded Solo SR today, hence why it was one of a couple to be away from its usual full ring road work. 359 is seen on Milton Street ready to do the next 30 to Wollaton.

After both of the branded Yutongs of 279 and 280 for the 61 were swapped out today, it was a case of the route sort of reverting back to its original form since its introduction with the solid diet of three Solo SR's on it. 345 is seen on Milton Street with a 61 to Calverton replacing an unavailable 278.

Having seen another Solo SR come out to play on the 61 replacing another one of their Yutongs in the form of 280, documenting it was a must for me, so I set out into the city to catch up with it. 352 is seen on Upper Parliament Street having brought in a 61 from Calverton.

Following on from its morning work on the extras for the 30, this Solo SR branded for the 53/54 then spent the late afternoon on the 61 after replacing the branded Yutong E10 of 270. 358 is seen on Milton Street with a 61 to Calverton.

Due to the 30 being a pink Yutong short today, one of the Solo SR's was seen in its place, as illustrated here. 342 is seen on Upper Parliament Street with a 30 to Wollaton.

Nottingham City Transport 211 (31.03.2025)

The sight of a Yutong spare on the 30 as the extra bus is likely to be no more with rumors of a fifth bus arriving for the pink network although as nothing has materialized yet, the two E12 spares will be seen acting as the extra fourth bus for the 30 for the time being. 211 is seen on Upper Parliament Street with a 30 to Wollaton.

Now de-branded from the 70/71, 361 helps out on its former yellow network as it turns into Milton Street with the blind set for the next service to Bulwell.
