Nottingham City Transport 477 (26.04.2025)

With a red bio-gas sneaking into view, 477, one of the silver spare variants, waits behind on King Street to form the next 43 to Bakersfield.

Nottingham City Transport 627 (26.04.2025)

Buses not normally seen on the 43 were out on it today, with one silver bio-gas and this one of the celebrity E400's doing the rounds. 627 is seen outside Victoria Centre with a 43 to Bakersfield.

Nottingham City Transport 431 (26.04.2025)

Over on the 10, a similar story occurred in which a spare ended up on the route although on that occasion, it was a case of a bus swap of choice, which saw the branded bio-gas Scania of 407 come off to be replaced by this bio-gas spare variant, as illustrated here. 431 is seen on Loughborough Road with a 10 to Ruddington.

Nottingham City Transport 633 (26.04.2025)

Due to the branded bio-gas Scania of 402 having been deemed a failure at the cricket ground, one of the E400 spares, which started the afternoon on the 49X, was summoned to help out until the end of service on the green route, as illustrated here. 633 is seen at Trevor Road Top with a 6 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 342 (27.04.2025)

Due to a failed branded Yutong in the form of 268, one of the 61 plate Solo SR spares was on hand to keep the service running for the rest of the day. 342 is seen on Mount Street with a 5A to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 356 (26.04.2025)

As one Solo SR was leaving on the 40/41/42, another one was arriving in on the same network! 356 is seen about to turn into King Street with the blind set for the next 40 to City Hospital.

Nottingham City Transport 352 (26.04.2025)

As only one Yutong spare was out in service today, pretty much all electric cover work was Solo SR orientated today as a result. 352 is seen on Upper Parliament Street with a 41 to St Ann's. In the end, this bus also made a late appearance on the 70/71 to replace a failed branded Yutong E10 in the form of 270.

Nottingham City Transport 351 (26.04.2025)

Due to a shortage of available full length spares today, this one of the shorter length Solo SR's was sent out to cover on the 39 as a result. 351 is seen outside Victoria Centre with a 39 to Carlton Valley.

Nottingham City Transport 353 (26.04.2025)

Owing to what I believe was a failed pink 30 branded Yutong E12 on the route, one of the Solo SR spares was sent out onto the route as a result. 353 is seen on Upper Parliament Street with a 30 to Wollaton.

Nottingham City Transport 354 'Helen Richardson-Walsh' (26.04.2025)

A nice addition to the evening operations on the 61 is that of a board that is usually utilized by one of the Solo SR spares, as illustrated here. 354 is seen on Upper Parliament Street with a 61 to Calverton.
Nottingham City Transport 363 (26.04.2025)

In a change to the usual traction on one of the daytime orientated 61's, one of the yellow Solo SR spares ended up on the route instead, as illustrated here. 363 is seen on Upper Parliament Street ready to do the next 61 to Calverton.

Nottingham City Transport 638 (26.04.2025)

Whilst the 48 has gone to single-decker operation and moved to Trent Bridge, deckers can still be seen helping out on the route, as illustrated here. 638 in de-branded navy 48 livery is seen outside Nottingham Station with a 48X to Clifton.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0049 (26.04.2025)

With CT4N now operating the 510/511, the two NCC buses formerly used on it are now seeing use on the 33 as and when needed. 0049 (LJ18 FGZ) is seen leaving Gamston Morrisons on a 33 to Radcliffe.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0088 (26.04.2025)

Minnie on board...

0088 (DF66 PSU), complete with Minnie Mouse on board, is seen on Friar Lane with a 33 to Radcliffe.

Nottinghamshire County Council YX12 CKJ (26.04.2025)

Due to one of the usual electric buses having not been charged up, one of the Fiats usually utilized on school runs and private hires was summoned to help out on the 33 instead, as illustrated here. YX12 CKJ is seen on Friar Lane ready to do the next service to Radcliffe on Trent.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0056 (RX71 TNV) (26.04.2025)

Nottinghamshire County Council 0094 (SG68 XYX) (26.04.2025)

Trent Barton 480 (22.04.2025)

A Hucknall regular except here we see 480 on The Threes as it works a service A to Mansfield.

Trent Barton 480 (22.04.2025)

Looking somewhat out of place in Nottingham is ex-Royal Derby Optare Solo 480 in red as it terminates at Victoria Bus Station on a Threes from Mansfield.

Trent Barton 815 (22.04.2025)

Back on The Threes in red...

815 in the new red spare livery is seen leaving Nottingham on its original stomping ground of The Threes as it takes a C service to Mansfield.

Trent Barton 849 'Jayden Jackson' (22.04.2025)

With a fair few of the new Threes off the road today along with one on the morning 90 extra and the afternoon Threes extra, admittedly its own route for the afternoon truth be told, a good number of spares were out in their places, a sight more common during the Versa era but has happened during the MMC era as well a number of times, today being no exception. 849 is seen leaving Nottingham on a Threes A to Mansfield.

Trent Barton 277 (22.04.2025)

The only on loan white MMC that has been retained for longer term use with Trent Barton to help out when needed and today saw it on one of its two usual regular haunts in The Threes, as illustrated here. 277, new to Transpora as 1299, leaves Nottingham on a Threes C to Mansfield.
