Nottingham City Transport 638 (21.08.2025)

Following on from the withdrawals of 930-932 from the Uni 4 route, the three navy spare E400's have now been given the Uni 4 branding to replace them. 638 in its slightly modernized navy line livery is seen in West Bridgford with a 9 to Wilford Hill in place of a usual branded Yutong E10.

Kinchbus 347 (21.08.2025)

Following a move to the 2/3 from the Mango Eclipse of 716 replacing the Mango Solo SR of 502 (I think), this new 25 plate spare MMC saw definite use on the 9 replacing the big Mango spare. 347 is seen on Loughborough Road with a 9 to Loughborough.

Trent Barton 145 (21.08.2025)

Finally a snap of a Mango MMC on The Keyworth and prior to being replaced by the branded MMC of 101 as it turned out, hence why this didn't last long on this route. 145 is seen heading towards Trent Bridge on The Keyworth to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 712 (21.08.2025)

With the red spare Scania of 669 in the background on the Mainline, 712, a Mango spare Eclipse, is pictured in West Bridgford on The Cotgrave to Cotgrave.

Trent Barton 703 (21.08.2025)

In the brighter red spare livery, 703, a Volvo B7RLE Wright-Eclipse Urban, enters West Bridgford Town Centre on The Cotgrave to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 725 (21.08.2025)

After its morning work on the Indigo, effectively prior to being replaced by the branded MMC of 209, which was earlier replaced on its original slot by 145, which was replaced on The Keyworth by the branded MMC of 101, this red spare Eclipse saw use on the Mainline after temporarily replacing a failed branded MMC in the form of 114 before being re-swapped for the branded vehicle and that prior to its later on work on the Skylink Nottingham after replacing 727 in the brighter red spare livery. 725 is seen in West Bridgford with a Mainline to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 669 (21.08.2025)

With the three Mango MMC's being used on the MMC routes with more than three spares needed on the MMC routes as a whole, other different spares are filling in where possible. 669, the one remaining red Scania left with Trent Barton, is seen in West Bridgford with a Mainline to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 506 (22.08.2025)

Just the one of the pair of Solo SR's that Manvers Street have was out on the road today, with it covering the Indigo later on in the day after replacing the branded MMC of 214 and that after a full day's work on the Mainline, the route which I snapped it on, as illustrated here. 506 is pictured in West Bridgford with a Mainline to Bingham.

Kinchbus 715 (20.08.2025)

175, the one remaining Mango MMC left with Kinchbus, had been out on the 9 but this one of the Mango Eclipses, effectively dedicated for this route amongst the 11/12 too, was declared available for service and so the buses were swapped in Loughborough. 715 is seen arriving at Broadmarsh Bus Station with a 9 from Loughborough.

Kinchbus 175 (20.08.2025)

With sister 174 now back with Trent Barton, this remaining Mango MMC with Kinchbus is also due to transfer over in the same direction ahead of the new electric Yutongs with Kinchbus that are due to enter service towards the end of this year. 175 is seen on Carrington Street with a 9 from Loughborough. In the end, this bus also saw use on the 11/12 replacing a failed Kinchbus liveried variant in the form of 108.

Trent Barton 506 (20.08.2025)

Making a rare i4 appearance is 506, an Optare Solo SR in the red spare livery, as it runs in ready to do its first run of the day to Derby.

Trent Barton 713 (20.08.2025)

Anything and everything is being used on the i4 at the moment and on main boards too it would appear as was the case today. 713 is seen on Friar Lane ready to do the next i4 to Derby.

Trent Barton 741 (20.08.2025)

Seen on Friar Lane ready to do a Skylink Nottingham to East Midlands Gateway.

Trent Barton 725 (20.08.2025)

A supposedly full run on the Indigo was on the cards for this red spare Eclipse, coming off after the 08:41 from Long Eaton to Nottingham before coming back on at 16:08 later on in the day, finishing service at 23:49 sharp. 725 leaves Friar Lane on an Indigo to Briar Gate.

Trent Barton 712 (20.08.2025)

After the Indigo branded MMC of 215 came off the route, one of the former breed was on hand to replace it, as illustrated here. 712 is seen on Friar Lane ready to do its next Indigo service to Derby.

Trent Barton 712 (20.08.2025)

Seen on Upper Parliament Street ready to do its next service to Calverton on The Calverton. In the end, this bus had been out on here but was replaced by one of the branded examples in the form of 710.

Trent Barton 703 (20.08.2025)

The other bright red spare was out on The Keyworth today, as illustrated here. 703 is seen on Carrington Street with The Keyworth from Keyworth.

Trent Barton 669/727 (20.08.2025)

Old and new generations meet...

669, a Scania L94UB Wright-Solar in the dark red spare livery, is seen on Carrington Street with The Cotgrave from Cotgrave whilst 727. a Volvo B7RLE Wright-Eclipse Urban, in the bright red spare livery, is seen heading the opposite way on the same route bound for Cotgrave.

Trent Barton 727 (20.08.2025)

Since being replaced on the H1 by newer MMC's, the ex-Eclipses have moved on to do other work, with one going for Keyworth and the rest seeing use as spares. 727 in its new red livery is seen on Beastmarket Hill in between journeys on The Cotgrave.

Trent Barton 669 (20.08.2025)

Seen on Main Road in Cotgrave on its return journey towards Nottingham.

Trent Barton 217 (20.08.2025)

A lucky return from the 18 plate MMC today after originally running out of fuel whilst originally out on The Cotgrave and so it was the Skylink Nottingham instead for the rest of the day since replacing the 17 plate variant of 110. 217 leaves Nottingham with a Skylink Nottingham to East Midlands Gateway.

Trent Barton 145 (20.08.2025)

Due to the Mainline replacements between 116 and 110, then 110 and 111, the sole 69 plate MMC spare was to be seen helping out on the route all day as a result. 145 is seen on Friar Lane with a Mainline from Bingham.

Trent Barton 110 (20.08.2025)

After being replaced by the 18 plate Mango MMC spare of 217 on the Skylink Nottingham, which was replaced by the red spare Scania Scania 669 on The Cotgrave after a fuel issue with that bus originally, this 17 plate Mango MMC spare went on to replace 113, one of the Mainline branded 17 plates on the Mainline (what else?) before it then moved to replace a failed 116, also branded for the Mainline, after being replaced by 111, the only 17 plate branded for the route and all that before a late Cotgrave appearance replacing 669. As this bus was working on just four cylinder MMC routes though, it was a case of any route would suffice! 110 is seen at the end of Carrington Street with a Mainline from Bingham.
