West Coast Railways 57313 'Scarborough Castle'/57314 'Conwy Castle' (17.08.2025)

47815 'Great Western' had been in the Northern Belle set for a long period of time as had 47828 but the usual branded 57/3 plus the maroon 57/3 were both declared available for service and so the 47's were taken out of the set and replaced with the 57's. 57313 and 57314 pass Nottingham with a Northern Belle ECS from Lincoln Central-Burton on Trent Wetmore sidings, the locos having worked a Settle and Carlisle Steam special tour from Lincoln Central-Carlisle, then Carlisle-Hellifield GL and then Hellifield GL-Lincoln Central, the tour of which was diesel hauled throughout due to the unavailability of Black 5 locomotive 45215 as a result of the hot weather.
