After what seemed like an age, I was finally able to catch up with CT4N's route 66 and with one of the Versas too! 1002 is seen in Loughborough having brought in a 66 from Sutton Bonington.
CT4N 1014 (26.01.2026)
Following the transfer of the Medilink to Skills, the dedicated Versa that could be seen covering the route for the usual BYD's on a regular basis can now see use on anything and today saw morning school work be followed by a day on the 510/511, as illustrated here. 1014 is seen leaving Toton on a 510 to Beeston.
CT4N 1000 (26.01.2026)
A circular network that started with Solos soon had more variety to it with the two MMC's of 1029 and 1030, the short wheelbase now withdrawn, entering the fray and then the Versas soon followed suit and today saw a pair of the ex-Go North East examples doing the rounds, as illustrated here. 1000 is seen in Attenborough with a 510 to Stapleford. Upon arrival at Stapleford, this bus would have then gone on to work the 511 Stapleford Shopper before returning back to Beeston on the 510.
CT4N 1029 (26.01.2026)
With the shorter wheelbase example of 1030 now withdrawn, this long wheelbase MMC continues to see use with CT4N on long-term hire. 1029 leaves Beastmarket Hill with an 18 to Stapleford.
CT4N 1010 (26.01.2026)
The 18 is often solid Versa operation but the Solos can and do make various appearances on the route, as illustrated here, 1010 is seen in Nottingham with an 18X from Stapleford.
CT4N 1003 (26.01.2026)
As the 66 tends to use any available bus these days, the sole branded bus for the route can be regularly found away from its usual network, as illustrated here. 1003 is seen outside Victoria Centre ready to do the next L14 to Basford.
CT4N 1011 (26.01.2026)
Seen on Upper Parliament Street with an L2 to Assarts Farm.
CT4N 923 (26.01.2026)
The 29 is usually run with one of the Blackpool solos but an exception to the usual rule here sees council operated 923 in Long Eaton ready to do the next service to Sandiacre.
CT4N 930 (26.01.2026)
1006, an Optare Versa, had been out on the L2/L14 for a couple of runs after replacing this Solo but normal service eventually resumed with the Locallink spec back out where it started. 930 is seen on Milton Street with an L2 to Assarts Farm.
CT4N 1029 (26.01.2026)
A few of the ex-NCT OmniDekkas currently find themselves with CT4N in varying liveries, with one still in ex-NCT silver, another in CT4N blue and grey and this in the new CT4N Buses livery. 1029 is seen outside the Corner House on a dead run towards Mount Street outside the NCP after having done morning school work.
CT4N 909 (26.01.2026)
Whilst most school allocations with CT4N are with standard buses, the 631 school diagrams are minibus operated with their one Merc Sprinter example, as illustrated here. 909 is pictured on Waverley Street with a 631 to Underwood Institute.
CT4N 1009 (26.01.2025)
It always seems a strange choice by CT4N to whack Solos on school diagrams given their shorter wheelbase over the Versas but the ex-Blackpool examples are regulars on them and here, 1009 is seen on Waverley Street with a 9 to Farnsfield White Post Farm.
CT4N 1006 (26.01.2026)
Covered in muck, 1006, an Optare Versa, formerly of Webberbus, turns into Market Street with an 11 to Newark from Nottingham High School.
CT4N 1007 (26.01.2026)
The CT4N school diagrams can and do generate a right mixture of buses, with Solos, Versas and OmniDekkas on varying routes. Unfortunately a snap of every single afternoon working wasn't possible after I was originally in the wrong spot to snap them but a backup shot of the buses on their departure preparations came in handy thanks to the accurate zoom on the google pixel camera that was used to help me out. 1007 is pictured leading various Solos, another Versa and an OmniDekka, the leading Versa ready to do the 10 to Little Carlton, the bus having been on the L14 temporarily before being re-swapped for the Optare Solo of 930.

Nottingham City Transport 639 (22.01.2026)
The Uni 4 branded E400's more often than not seem to end up operating on the 1 and today was no exception either with this one of the trio doing duty on it! 639 leaves Loughborough on a 1 to Nottingham.
Nottingham City Transport 928 (22.01.2026)
After the new style spare E400 of 635 came off the 1, its sub for the rest of the day was with one of the old Unis, as illustrated here, 928 is seen on Wilford Lane as it unusually heads out to Loughborough on the 1.
Nottingham Minibuses and Coaches SJ22 HKU (21.01.2026)
Whilst the afternoon return N44 school diagram was being operated with W24 NMC, the ex-Acorn Travel Merc Sprinter, which was on the N12 school diagram this morning, this ex-Go Goodwin Fiat saw use on the N44 this morning before spending the rest of the day on the workings in and around Netherfield with the N12 and N20 school diagrams also included within it. SJ22 HKU is seen passing a set of temporary traffic lights on Melton Road with an N44 to Becket School from Radcliffe on Trent.
Rail Operations Group/Europhoenix 37884 'Cepheus'/South Western Railway 455870 (22.01.2026)
Making a bit of a noise as it passes through Barrow Upon Soar, Rail Operations Group/Europhoenix 37884 works 5Q58 from Wimbledon Park Depot Sidings-Derby Litchurch Lane with South Western Railway 455870 for storage and eventual scrapping at Kingsbury.
Freightliner 66615 (22.01.2026)
Speedy shed...
66615 passes Barrow Upon Soar with a mixture of green and white Freightliner hoppers from March Down RS-Tunstead Sidings.

DB Cargo UK 66152 'Derek Holmes Railway Operator' (21.01.2026)
The final freight snapped at Langley Mill during my time today wasn't too much of interest although it was with this DB Cargo UK 66 to give me a tick in the book, as illustrated here. 66152 passes Langley Mill with a single hopper from Belmont Down Yard-Toton North Yard.
Seen passing Langley Mill going from Bletchey Cemex-Peak Forest.
GBRF 66750 'Bristol Panel Signal Box/69016 (21.01.2026)
Complete with all of the filth from the 2025 Autumn RHTT season, 66750 leads a cleaner looking 69016 in the British Transport Police livery as they work an engineers train from Scunthorpe on Trent TC-Eastleigh East Yard.
Freightliner 66559 (21.01.2026)
Seen passing Langley Mill on an engineers train from Doncaster Up Decoy-Toton North Yard.
GBRF 66709 'Sorrento' (21.01.2026)
A first catch of the MSC liveried 66 came about today, as illustrated here. 66709 passes Langley Mill with an intermodal train from Southampton-Masborough.
Freightliner 66556 (21.01.2026)
As I don't always tend to cover Freightliner that much, it was nice to see a couple of their 66's today! 66556 passes Langley Mill with a fully loaded container train, including two fridges, from Leeds Freightliner Terminal-Southampton Marine Container Terminal.
Trent Barton 327 (21.01.2025)
Seen on Tollhouse Hill with a Two to Cotmanhay from Nottingham and not to Nottingham as advertised.
Trent Barton 326 (21.01.2026)
Both of the 24 plate MMC's were out on The Two on this occasion, both of which were snapped too! 326 is seen leaving Nottingham with The Two to Ilkeston.
Trent Barton 734 (21.01.2026)
Many red R1's would more often than not generate an ex-Threes Versa but this one generated an ex-H1 Eclipse on this occasion, as illustrated here. 734 is seen leaving Nottingham on a Rainbow One to Heanor.
Trent Barton 723 (21.01.2026)
With its revised full yellow/orange front minus the black, 723, a Mango spare Eclipse, heads on Alfreton Road with a Rainbow One from Alfreton. In the end, this bus was replaced by the branded MMC of 165 late on in the evening, the branded MMC of which had been on the R1 all day before then replacing this spare due to an earlier than planned return to the depot for it.
Trent Barton 747 (21.01.2026)
Another ex-Two although this time it's 747, it seen at Langley Mill Railway Station with a Rainbow One to Ripley.
Trent Barton 746 (21.01.2025)
Due to seemingly unreliable MMC's on the R1 of late, various spares have been making appearances on the route, today being no exception with four Eclipses covering it! 746 is seen somewhere between Eastwood and Kimberley with a Rainbow One to Nottingham from Heanor.
Trent Barton 174 (21.01.2025)
A day off its usual work on the R1 and/or Two for example saw this Mango MMC out on the My15 all day, as illustrated here. 174 is seen in Long Eaton with a My15 to Ilkeston from East Midlands Airport.
Trent Barton 821 (21.01.2025)
My first snap of a red spare Versa on something normal for them in the My15 and two of them had been out on the route before 820 was replaced by the branded variant of 805, which was earlier replaced by the ex-H1 variant of 829 on its original slot. 821 was one down for the count though, it seen in Long Eaton with a My15 to East Midlands Airport.
