Nottingham City Transport 639 (09.04.2026)

Seen leaving Beastmarket Hill on an extra booked 48 to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 662 (09.04.2026)

Due to roadworks on part of its original route on Woodborough Road, I was able to catch up with a diverted 60 albeit with a spare on this occasion, as illustrated here. 662 heads towards Nottingham on Mansfield Road with an off route 60 from Gedling. In the end, this bus was later replaced by the branded bio-gas Scania of 438.

The pink line was changing buses on various occasions, with 479 being replaced by this Pride E400 on one 28 before replacing 483 on another 28, which replaced 480 on another 28 due to it replacing 478 on another 28. The first bus swap was what mattered the most though with 603 involved in it, hence the later on requirement of a catch up with the bus when it signed onto the route. 603 is pictured on Upper Parliament Street with a 28 to Bilborough.

One spare I was out for very early on was the Pride E400 on the 10C/10X in case of an early swap and it turned out that it did happen after I snapped it heading into Nottingham on the long run from Rushcliffe Country Park, thus giving me the biggest tick in the book on the service. 603 turns off of Carrington Street into Canal Street with a 10C from Rushcliffe Country Park. After working this service, this bus worked a 10X to Rushcliffe Country Park as far as Angel Row, where the branded E400 City of 407 took over for the rest of the journey and the rest of the day on the 10/10C/10X.

Bus changeover time...

603, the Pride E400, had been out on the 10C/10X but the branded E400 City was declared available for service just before breakfast and so the buses were swapped on Angel Row. 407 heads on Maid Marian Way with a 10X to Rushcliffe Country Park whilst 603 heads the same way out of service back towards the City to await its next turn of duty.
