Kinchbus 347 (30.04.2026)

A rare find on other forms of Kinchbus duties was one of the duo of 25 plate MMC's on the 2/3/9 boards, as illustrated here. 347 is pictured in Loughborough in between journeys on the 9. In the end, this bus was replaced by the Yutong E12 of 3208 just under an hour before lunch.

Nottingham City Transport 267 (22.04.2026)

Seen waiting for the green signal in Victoria Embankment with the blind set for the extra 1B to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 267 (22.04.2026)

The afternoon extras on the 39 usually generate one of the usual E12's for the 39 but, just like the morning extras, a Bridgford Bus was on order once more, as illustrated here. 267 is seen on Lower Parliament Street going the wrong way to normal on a 39 to Carlton Valley.

Nottingham City Transport 266 (22.04.2026)

Bridgford on big blue...

266 is seen on King Street with a 39 from Carlton Valley.

Nottingham City Transport 269 (22.04.2026)

Due to late running from one of the green 11 branded E10's, one of the Bridgford Bus examples was sent out to do the 19:00 11B instead, as illustrated here. 269 is seen taking the left turn as a pose to its usual straight on at the lights with an 11B to Lady Bay.
Nottingham City Transport 255 (22.04.2026)

Whilst thinking that this was on the 11, which it did start out on, when I first saw it, only when I moved a bit closer outside Victoria Centre did I notice that this was actually on the 7, thus making it the second unusual allocation to Bridgford Bus... somehow! 255 is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with a 7 to Edwalton Fields. In the end, this bus had been out on the 11 but it was replaced by 254, also branded for the route, after which this then replaced the Bridgford Bus branded variant of 263 on the 7 following a bus fault.
Nottingham City Transport 257 (22.04.2026)

Seeing blue Yutongs on Bridgford Bus under the MMC era has been common and more so than under the current Yutong era but one was to be seen out on the 9 today, as illustrated here. 257 is unusually pictured in West Bridgford with a 9 to City Loop.
Nottingham City Transport 259 (22.04.2026)

Wrong shaded 61...

259 is pictured on Upper Parliament Street having brought in a 61 from Calverton.

Nottingham City Transport 279 (22.04.2026)

Whilst I didn't manage to snap the navy 48 branded Yutong E12 on the usually decker extra 1E this morning, I was still able to snap a Yutong on an extra diagram usually run by a decker. 279 is pictured on Mansfield Road with a 53 to Arnold from the QMC.
Nottingham City Transport 281 (22.04.2026)

Away day sky blue...

281 is unusually pictured on Carrington Street on a navy 3A to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 202 (22.04.2026)

The random bus allocator at Trent Bridge was certainly working well today with the single-deckers especially, with a 90 on the 53B and 54B extras, an 11 on the 7 after coming off its usual branded route, a 40/41/42 on the 9, another 40/41/42 on the 61 for the evening, a Bridgford Bus on the morning 39 extras, another Bridgford Bus on the 1B and 39 afternoon extras, another Bridgford Bus on the 11 late on as a duplicate post its work on its usual network, a 3 on the 41/42 and Bridgford Bus extras, a 48 on the extra 1E, a 61 on the usually double decker operated 53 extra, another 61 on the 3/3A, a 39 on the 45 and this out on the 3 prior to being replaced by one of the branded vehicles and before its afternoon work on the 45 extras. 202 is unusually pictured on Carrington Street with a 3 to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 209 (22.04.2026)

Blue on red...

209, a blue 39 branded E12, is seen on Upper Parliament Street with a 45 to Victoria Retail Park and Rivendell on the morning extra board.

Nottingham City Transport 356 (22.04.2026)

Now the Pathfinder 90 requires one less bus following the easing of the delays thanks to the completion of the gas works on the A52, it means that finding one on something different is now a possibility on any given day, 356 is pictured at Crusader Island with a 54B to QMC. In the end, this bus would have done the 53B extra prior to this working.
