A tick in the book sees this E400 showing off the new Edwalton Fields display. a snap made possible since it was out long enough for it to see use on that and the 9 too! 636 is seen on Carrington Street with a 9 from Clifton but with the blind set for its next turn of duty in a 7 to Edwalton Fields.

636, one of the E400 spares, had been out on the Bridgford Bus network today but the branded E10 was declared available for service later on in the day and so the buses were swapped at the Crusader Island, the terminus for the new look 9. 636 is pictured on the A453 at the Crusader Island Bus Stop having brought in a 9 from Nottingham as 264 eventually arrives and then takes over from the E400 to spend the rest of the day on the 5/7/8/9, its first run being a 9 to Nottingham, with the E400 spare heading empty to replace a South Notts E400 on the 1.

Nottingham City Transport 217 (29.07.2026)

After the Bridgford Bus branded E10 of 265 came off the 5/8, this navy 48 branded E10 unusually came out to play late afternoon, as illustrated here. 217 is pictured on Bridgford Road outside the cricket ground with a 5 to Edwalton.

Looking somewhat out of place, 220, the sole 75 plate pink branded Yutong, is seen on Queen Street as it spends the morning out on the extra 39's, a working usually in either the hands of one of the branded buses for the route or any available spare.

One of the yellow Yutongs escaped off of its usual route, which it had started out on today, this afternoon in favor of work on the blue 40/41/42, as illustrated here. 274 is unusually seen on Queen Street with a 41 to St Ann's.

280 branded for the sky blue 61 is unusually seen on Queen Street ready to do a blue line 41 (without the sky) to St Ann's.

After one of the yellow Yutongs came off this route in favor of blue work for the afternoon and evening, this sky blue example came out to play away from its own usual haunts, as illustrated here. 281 is seen outside the Cornerhouse with the blind set for the next 71B to Bulwell Bus Station.

After one of the 48 branded E12's replaced one of the Bridgford Bus branded E10's on the 5, a South Notts branded E400 ended up on the 48 all day, as illustrated here. 643 is pictured on Canal Street with a 48 to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 639 (29.07.2026)

The Unis haven't spent too much time out lately but today saw 637 on the Trent Bridge operated 53B extra and this out on the 1 until later on in the day when a South Notts E400, which was replaced by a spare variant on its original 1, came back out to play but on this 1 instead. 638 is seen on Carrington Street with a 1 from Loughborough.

Seen turning onto Carrington Street with a 1B to Wilford, a booked working on this board in between runs on the 36.

Nottingham City Transport 621 (29.07.2026)

After the brown bio-gas Scania of 459 came off, a very unusual source was its replacement in the form of this Uni 34 E400, one that saw use on the 35 and 35B extras prior to its later work on the brown network and with the Uni 34 on its summer timetable, NCT can technically have some of these ending up on absolutely anything, just like in this snap, one which sees 621 outside the Cornerhouse with a 16 from Rise Park.

Trent Barton 217 (24.07.2026)

A sight not to be repeated now is The Cotgrave not leaving Broadmarsh Bus Station spare or not and on the second to last day of the route serving the bus station, 217 in the Mango spare livery is seen on departure from it on Canal Street awaiting the turn into Carrington Street with The Cotgrave to Cotgrave.

Seen in West Bridgford on The Cotgrave to Nottingham, the 17 plate Mango spare MMC having replaced the 18 plate Mango spare MMC of 217 earlier on in the day after a bus fault.

One Mango MMC that was on my bingo card on the RV1 from today was this 17 plate variant, as illustrated here. 109 is pictured in Radcliffe with an RV1 to Bingham. In the end, prior to its next turn of duty on the Skylink Nottingham, this bus was replaced on this route by the branded Solo SR of 505 after working the return service from Bingham.

Trent Barton 147 (24.07.2026)

One Mango spare that wasn't intended to be on my bingo card from today on the RV1 was this one of the 20 plates but after the branded Eclipse of 741 came off, I set out to catch up with the new look spare as a result. 147 is pictured having left Broadmarsh Bus Station on an RV1 to Newton.

Given the two bus PVR on the RV1, it's not always that you see four buses on the service but today saw just that happen with three spares also seeing part-time use on the route too! 741 is pictured having left Broadmarsh Bus Station on an RV1 to Bingham. In the end, this bus was replaced by the Mango MMC of 147 on the route due to possible issues with the rear seats, the Mango MMC, which itself had failed on the Skylink Nottingham, having been replaced on there by one of its older Mango sisters in the form of 109, which was dispatched onto The Cotgrave to replace a failed 217 after having been replaced on the Skylink Nottingham late on by the branded MMC of 124.

Trent Barton 727 (24.07.2026)

It seems as if Langley Mill have taken hold of most of the bright red Eclipses with only one left running at Manvers Street, which has come in handy of late with Trent having a vehicle shortage in Nottingham although enough spares were out to help cover various diagrams as and when needed prior to being swapped, mostly for branded vehicles. 727 is pictured in Radcliffe with a Mainline to Nottingham, not Bingham as advertised. In the end, this bus moved to the i4 to replace the branded MMC of 138, which replaced the branded MMC of 131 on the same route, that bus of which was involved in replacing some form of another branded MMC on, yep, you guessed it, the same route (surprise, surprise!).

Trent Barton 110 (24.07.2026)

After having left home early for the City, a Mango MMC turned up on The Calverton, thus giving me the chance to catch up with it straight away, an opportunity that wasn't to be turned down and so I made my way on the MMC towards Daybrook to document it on its first journey of the day from the City. 110 is seen having left Daybrook Square on The Calverton to Calverton. In the end, this bus was replaced by the branded Eclipse of 711 on this route before moving to the Skylink Nottingham to replace the Skylink Nottingham branded MMC of 121, which failed at East Midlands Airport earlier in the day.
