347, a new style spare Optare Solo SR, is seen here in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with, not a navy 3 service to Clifton, but a Bridgford Bus 5 service to Gamston. This bus was the one that bought me here from Nottingham Station.
Though it is usually the 7 that ends up with any spare buses on Saturdays when needs be, today was different as a spare wasn't allocated to the route, nor was one allocated to this route either! 344, a navy 3 branded Optare Solo SR, surprisingly was allocated however, it seen here at Nottingham Station bus stop with a City Loop service and, yep, you guessed it, this bus was the one that bought me here from Mellors Road bus stop on Melton Road.
I hope no-one for Clifton boarded this bus at stops such as Nottingham Station and Trent Bridge etc.!
347, a navy 3 branded Optare Solo SR, unusually deputises for a 12 plate Bridgford Bus branded Optare Solo SR on the 5, it seen here arriving at Mellors Road bus stop to pick me up while on a City Loop service.
