Nottingham City Transport 426 'Albert Ball VC' (02.10.2021)

One of the bright yellows on a wet day that I snapped was from the rear advert on this bio-gas spare! If only this was on a yellow 68/69 branded variation! Well too bad it wasn't but it being on this will suffice!

426 is pictured outside Nottingham's Victoria Centre with a Bridgford Bus 6 service to Edwalton.

As of the day's main spare on the 6, today saw some familiar traction on the route with one of the 17 plate bio-gas spares, as illustrated here. 426 rounds the bend onto Meadows Way with a 6 to Edwalton.

 

Though a bus swap occurred on the 6 on 02.10.2021 when an Optare OmniDekka spare in 901 replaced a Bridgford Bus bio-gas Scania in the form of 402, I wasn't able to capture the working, so here's one from the archives and it sees 901 on Stamford Road and Trevor Road on 31.03.2020 with a 6 to City Loop

Rushcliffe Borough Council 821 (01.10.2021)

I assume that this is one of Rushcliffe's latest additions to their fleet given this being without the advertising and I was lucky to catch up with it this morning on the way into Nottingham. 821 crosses Trent Bridge on the approach to West Bridgford.

Back on original home turf, this Optare Versa started out on the Rainbow One route since new before being repainted into the Mango spare livery and today saw it out on the Rainbow One route somewhat in place of a 20 plate ADL Enviro 200 MMC. 848 is seen outside Nottingham's Royal Centre with a Rainbow One from Alfreton.

The two 20 plate MMC spares were out on the Rainbow One route today, with 175 and this doing the rounds! 174 is seen outside Nottingham's Royal Centre with a Rainbow One to Victoria Bus Station.
