Nottingham City Transport 349 (02.10.2021)

Now here's something you don't usually see on the grey 50 route! A pink 30/31 branded Solo SR on it! Normally the solid diet of the silver spares on Saturdays but a pink bus will certainly suffice over that, 349 to be exact, it seen on Lower Parliament Street with a 50 to Victoria Retail Park.

Nottingham City Transport 330 (02.10.2021)

The grey 50 route is predominantly bio-gas powered most days, except on Saturdays as it's diesel powered with the Solo SR's being the main solid diet for the route. 330 is seen on Lower Parliament Street with a 50 to Victoria Retail Park.

Nottingham City Transport 353 (02.10.2021)

Not too many action of late has come on the green 11 route with the spares as and when required given the Solo SR's have been the main vehicles of choice for it and today was no exception! 353 arrives at Victoria Centre, the blind already reset for the next run to Lady Bay.

Nottingham City Transport 356 (02.10.2021)

I had assumed that the short wheelbase MMC spare of 309 wasn't going to be out on Bridgford's until it was involved in a bus swap with the branded variation of 308, hence why I thought this was the reason for the new style spare Enviro 200 of 375 being on the 5 and this new style Solo SR spare of 356 being on the 8 but it obviously wasn't! I was able to clock the midi-bus spares, 309 aside, on unusual routes anyway, this on the 8 included! 356, also a former Bridgford Bus Solo SR, is seen on the approach to Victoria Centre, the blind already reset for the next run to Wilford Hill.

Talk about the variety on Bridgford's from today as a new style spare Optare Solo SR was out on the 8 too! Ha! 😂

356 arrives at Kingston Road working an 8 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 375 (02.10.2021)

Talk about the dull day that was on the cards, this Bridgford Bus 5 service with this new style spare ADL Enviro 200 was running god knows how many minutes late on arrival at Victoria Centre, some 15 minutes one would imagine and it was as due to queues at the Sainsbury's petrol station on Melton Road, it most certainly meaning that the 5 was eventually unable to serve Melton Road unlike The Keyworth! Well then! An unusual allocation on the plus side with this bus, especially as this was on a Saturday at the time and here we see 375 on the approach to Victoria Centre, the blind already reset for the heavily late running 12:55 service to Gamston.

Worth noting that I was asked to stop filming on this bus twice but an edited video, prior to the orders by the driver of course, can be found below:

Nottingham City Transport 309 (02.10.2021)

A somewhat strange bus swap occurred on Bridgford's today as, while the spare Solo SR of 356 and the spare Enviro 200 of 375 were out all day, the short wheelbase MMC spare came out onto the 7, also usually known for seeing a spare on Saturday when required, replacing a Bridgford Bus branded variation in the form of 308. Normally known for being on Bridgford's all day is 309 but today was different as NCT probably got the memo of variety on Bridgford's! I can probably thank them for sticking with it then to make up for the wet weather, of which it best descrives what happens here as 309 is seen at Victoria Centre before departing with a 7 to Gamston, the windscreen wipers as seen doing the probable hokey-cokey in some shape or form!
