Considering the 5 usually seems to have the Bridgford Bus branded Optare Solo SRs allocated, to see a spare can often be unusual. Today's allocation to the route came in the form of 238, a Y reg plate Old Optare Solo, seen here about to pick me up from Mellors Road bus stop on Melton Road while working a 5 to City Loop.
