With the new style spare Optare Solo SR of 344 not being on the 3, two green spares were in use on there instead, formed of an Optare Solo SR and this Old Optare Solo. 238 is seen here waiting time on Beastmarket Hill before working a 3 to Clifton. In the end, I could only assume that the new style spare Optare Solo SR of 344 wasn't on the 3.
