Nottingham City Transport 990 (18.10.2017)

Yet another non-gas bus on a gas bus route here and its the former Sky Blue Line (now new style silver spare) Optare OmniDekka here in this one! 990 unusually deputises for a Bridgford Bus branded ADL Enviro 400 CBG City bio-gas bus with a 6 to Edwalton. Interestingly, Optare OmniDekka 989 in the rainbow swoops version of the silver livery was on the 10, which I could only assume that was deputising for a green 10 branded ADL Enviro 400 CBG City bio-gas bus!

Worth of note is that the 6 and the 10 used to use OmniDekkas similar to these types albeit 08 plate Scania versions with bright-tech developments LED displays (I think but not completely sure) unlike the McKenna Brothers LED displays used on these types. The OmniDekkas from the 6 and 10 along with former spare Scania OmniDekka 957 have all now cascaded to Orange Line 34, replacing older Scania OmniDekkas.
