Even a four car 222 made it onto the Lincoln/Leicester runs today, so no wonder why there were some workings often classed as out of the ordinary! I might even say here though that a shortage of stock was the reason for this 222 here was on the service, which during stock shortages, a mostly full day's service is what happens for any four car 222 allocated to the Lincoln/Leicester runs on certain Mondays and Fridays. Today here was no exception for 222102, seen here arriving at Nottingham Station on the 13:29 service to Lincoln Central.
