A required catch I have been after here as I hadn't caught East Midlands Railway's purple liveried 222 in 222104 on the Lincoln Central/Leicester local stopping services until now! Things like this on the line on mostly Mondays and Fridays could perhaps diminish as more 156's are set to join East Midlands Railway from Greater Anglia, which in turn would strengthen the fleet of 156's from the current 15 to 23. A case of, depending on luck possibly, catch these while you can on these services perhaps!? Maybe so but a four car certainly makes for a nice upgrade over two cars mind and given the purple livery, a touch of different colour to the usual blue liveried 156's and white liveried 158's, so I guess that's good! 222104 is seen from Nottingham Station in numerous shots as it works the Lincoln Central/Leicester local stopping services and given it being branded as EMR Intercity, a case of a misallocation perhaps due to an EMR regional route being featured here in this one.
