With Monty Hind shut today, which I actually didn't expect, I headed to the QMC instead to catch up with the grey 53/54 route given the fact that new Optare Solo SR's from Bridgford Bus are now the mainstay of the ring road services. 359 is one such bus to now be branded up for both routes and the bus is seen passing under the Ningbo Friendship tram bridge, which is on the Toton Lane section of the phase 2 tram extension, with a 54 to Clifton. Worth noting that the former Bridgford Bus Optare Solo SR's are effectively now either spare or branded up for grey 53/54 and they now effectively replace the seven Scania OmniTowns, which have now been withdrawn and mostly sold albeit with 204 being preserved with Nottingham Heritage Vehicles.
