Nottingham City Transport 207 (09.10.2017)

On a day where the single decks of Bridgford Bus unusually utilised a Sky Blue Line ADL Enviro 200 to the 9 and a green spare Optare Solo SR to the 5, the other side of the 9 (not the sky blue one) had three buses allocated in one day, including two green spares! The bus that started on the 9 was green spare Scania OmniTown 207 and can be seen here with a Wilford Hill service. In the end, this bus got swapped for Bridgford Bus Optare Solo SR 355, only for green spare ADL Enviro 200 375 to take over from it, meaning the appearance for the branded bus on the 9 was only a short one. All of this meant that the sky blue line branded ADL Enviro 200 stayed out all day, which to me seemed rather ridiculous, as I thought that the sky blue line ADL Enviro 200 was going to be swapped! Bizarrely, that wasn't the case! How extraordinary!

  1. That does seem strange, but who knows what goes on behind the scenes of which we are not party to! Great blog!
