Originally just a single 153, this Newark Castle/Matlock service was soon strengthened to three cars with 156410 joining it at the rear. Not sure if this was to do with the nearby derby football match between Notts County and Mansfield Town but either way, this service was strengthened to three cars. 153371 leads 156410 on a service to Newark Castle from Matlock.
