As Bridgford Bus had just branded buses on today, I decided the best place to capture some photos from was Nottingham Station and I even decided to spend the day there. Over on the HST sets today operating London St Pancras express services, one such to be out there was the one with this Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car in it. This buffet car may be no stranger to the Midland Mainline as it used to be an East Midlands Trains coach before being repainted into VTEC colours for set NL65 before swapping for 40805, originally on hire to East Midlands Trains before this buffet car. Midlands Mainline style seating commonly used by East Midlands Trains on all of their HST sets is retained inside albeit now with the Virgin Trains East Coast interior, with the outside in Virgin Trains East Coast, as illustrated here. 40751 is seen here in an East Midlands Trains set at Nottingham Station on platform 6.
