After 301, a Bridgford Bus branded ADL Enviro 200 MMC, came onto the 8 to replace one of its fellow counterparts in the form of 305 after having done a grey 54B run and also after another one of the Bridgford Bus variants in the form of 306 came onto the 8 early doors to replace one of its fellow counterparts there in the form of 302, it all meant that two spares were in use on the 9 as a result. 309, a new style spare ADL Enviro 200 MMC, pauses at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground on Bridgford Road with a 9 to City Loop whilst 376, a green spare ADL Enviro 200, passes it whilst operating a 9 in the opposite direction to Wilford Hill.
