Nottingham City Transport 291 (04.11.2026)

Flipping the 1 and the 9 around gives us this E10 spare of 219, the bus as seen in West Bridgford with a 9 to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 219 (04.11.2026)

Given NCT have been playing pic 'n' mix on the green line lately, it's been a lottery as to what has turned up on the green line and some spare oddities have even turned up too, such as this! 219 replaces a shorter Bridgford Bus E10 on the 5/8, the bus as seen in West Bridgford with a 5 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 218 (04.11.2026)

A rarity for Bridgford Bus today saw both of the brand new E12 spares on the network in numerical order and on varying routes too! 218 spends the day on the 7/9, the bus as seen in West Bridgford with a 7 to Edwalton Fields.

Nottingham City Transport 640 (04.11.2026)

It was a case of being on the right side of Victoria Embankment this morning in order to catch up with this decker on the 9 after a replacement on this run took place not long after this snap was taken. 640 is pictured in West Bridgford running 35 minutes late with a 9 to Nottingham, which was replaced by the E10 spare of 252, which was later replaced by the Bridgford Bus E10 of 266 after a bus fault, which was later fixed, thus enabling the E10 spare to work on the 40/41/42 for the late afternoon and whole evening. In the end, this bus was running behind schedule due to it being late out of the depot followed by congestion caused by roadworks on this particular route, thus meaning the next two 7's, one to Edwalton Fields from Nottingham and then the other vice versa, both with either the E10 spare or this bus, were cancelled.

Nottingham City Transport 629 (04.11.2026)

Before the money catch on the 9 with its decker allocation, the other spare decker I needed on the 6 turned up beforehand, as illustrated here. 629 is seen in West Bridgford with a 6 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 611 (04.11.2026)

Whilst loitering in West Bridgford waiting for a decker on the 9 to turn up, one of the celebrity variants came through on the 6 non-stop. 611 speeds through Central Avenue on a 6 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 627 'Alice Levine' (04.11.2026)

Sporting 125th Anniversary commemorative livery, 627, an E400 spare new to orange line for the 36 and then the 35, approaches Nottingham Station on a 10A to Rushcliffe Country Park.

Nottingham City Transport 427 'HMS Sherwood' (04.11.2026)

The 10 can often be a hit and miss route in terms of what turns up on it and both types of spare, excluding the Streetdecks, can turn up on it on a single day, as was the case today on this occasion with bio-gas and diesel both seeing use on it. 427 heads towards Trent Bridge with a 10 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 427 'HMS Sherwood' (04.11.2026)

An interesting day for this bio-gas spare saw it work on both green routes today, firstly the 10 all day and then the 6 for the evening too! 427 is pictured in West Bridgford with a 6 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 603 (04.11.2026)

Not a route we're used to seeing the Pride E400 of 603 on but here we see the bus pictured heading out on its next 43 to Bakersfield.

Nottingham City Transport 618 (04.11.2026)

With 411 having chosen to end up doing afternoon school work on one of the A2's today, a spare appeared in its place on the 44, which often sees various spares turn up a lot of the time and 618 exemplifies this, the bus as pictured outside Victoria Centre with a 44 from Gedling,

Nottingham City Transport 601 (04.11.2026)

Following a failed red bio-gas in the form of 417, one of the E400 spares was dispatched onto the route to replace it and I just so happened to catch up with it before the evening too! 601 is seen on Lower Parliament Street with a late running 44 from Gedling. In the end, this bus was replaced by 528 on the 36, one of the two orange routes that has been seen chopping and changing with their buses regularly, with 617 later replacing the orange bio-gas on the 35 after having been replaced by the lime bio-gas of 535 on the 58 and then the purple bio-gas of 472 on the 87/88/89 after what was actually a re-swap over there since the branded bus was replaced on the 87 for the singular round trip.

Nottingham City Transport 628/414 (04.11.2026)

With the Brian Clough statue in the background, 414 prepares to work the next 44 to Gedling after having taken over from 628, the bus it was replaced by originally seen heading back out of service to PSG ahead of later on work on the extra 28 plus the 35.
