Here is DB Cargo UK 60019, seen here with a tanker train from Kingsbury Oil Refinery to Humber Oil Refinery, the train having been moved onto platform 3 due to a Cross Country 170 taking up platform 1B. In the end, with this freight train coming through at or just after the 13:05 scheduled departure for the East Midlands Trains service to London St Pancras, the service to the capital departed some five or six minutes late! I'd have to say poor work I'm afraid in letting this train come through first and actually it could have gone on the straight track rather than on the curved tracks, which is where they change if necessary, just outside of the station to get by onto this platform. In all honesty really, I think the 13:05 departure should have been given the all clear first. I guess it was decided for it to go the other way instead.
