The newly refurbished 156 for East Midlands Trains was back in use today and some shots of it are seen here in this one. The services involved here are the Newark Castle runs, these in this case starting and terminating at Nottingham due to the ongoing Derby Station works. Note here that the 156 has new displays inside and outside, dark grey handrails, new flooring, new toilet, hence one of the big windows having been removed, and some new white and possibly blue colour on top of the seats! This 156 is also the only one to feature LED displays here, the others being with the roller blind displays.
