A surprise find from today was that of a 156 and the former South West Trains 158 paired together on the Liverpool service! 156404 heads to Eastcroft sidings from Derby Etches Park before much later on in the day heading back out there to wait for 158889 before then making preparations to form the 12:47 service to Liverpool Lime Street before finally heading out there on that exact service with 158889 with declassified first class trailing. In the end, 156404 was called up here as 158788 signed off the Liverpool services earlier on.
