East Midlands Trains 158770 (08.08.2019)

And here is what the regional services will look like for East Midlads Railway as they will be branded up as EMR regional. 158770 was a recent refurbishment from Bristol Barton Hill into its new East Midlands Trains livery and, despite the fact the livery came with the company's logos and in small font size at that, the old logos have since been removed ahead of the new franchise, which starts on Sunday 18th August. Why this wasn't repainted into the new East Midlands Railway livery instead of this one I don't know but it's best to save the new livery on launch day really, so I guess the rule must not be broken! The fresh Bristol Barton Hill repaint does give me a tick in the book here mind, as here illustrates. 158770 shows of its shiny new East Midlands Trains livery but with EMR Regional branding as it arrives on a service from Skegness. This service is usually worked as four coaches during the summer timetable but it was reduced to two coaches on this occasion.
