While the Y reg plate Old Optare Solos were deemed too old to be modified with Baumot's clean air technology, the newer Solo SR models in use with NCT are to be retained like the ADL Enviro 200 types, so there are plenty of midi-bus types around with NCT, including the ADL Enviro 200 MMC's although I guess the real variety from 2019 will be a distant memory as the Scania OmniTowns have also now been withdrawn. Lucky me from today as I was able to make up for it here in one such instance as a new style spare Optare Solo SR came out to play on the 8, as illustrated. 345 is seen here at Victoria Centre bus stop on Lower Parliament Street before departing with its Bridgford Bus working for Wilford Hill.
