While the short wheelbase ADL Enviro 200 MMC spare in 309 replaced one of the branded variants on the 9 in the form of 306, it was an all day appearance on the 6 for this new style spare Optare OmniDekka. The last time OmniDekkas were seen was back in 2017 with 08 plate Scanias before brand new bio-gas ADL Enviro 400 CBG City buses entered service. 989 brings us back the past (sort of!) as it finishes the climb up Trevor Road before then turning left onto Stamford Road with a 6 to Edwalton.
