My first actual sighting of some former London North Eastern Railway power cars with East Midlands Railway here. Shame it wasn't the full red Virgin Trains East Coast liveried set but this will do for now at least, so you know! Good to see that some of these power cars have been given a lifeline to operate with East Midlands Railway. Expect to see some of these in the Nottingham area now as they gradually replace the VP185 power cars. 43257 and 43318 in Virgin Trains East Coast red livery are seen sandwiched between an East Midlands Trains liveried set of coaches as the whole set itself arrives at Nottingham Station from London St Pancras before it enjoys a nice break before it then heads back out on the 11:45 service.
