A day off of the 14:12 London St Pancras was to be on the cards for 222101 (as always for a four car 222!) as the five car variant of 222 of 222013 got the nod. Today saw it paired with 222017 and the process starts with 222013 arriving in from Etches Park sidings before 222017 later arrives in from London St Pancras before the coupling phase before then the two Meridians head out to the Capital on the 14:12 service as a ten car.
