East Midlands Railway 180109 (12.04.2021)

The replacement for the six car HST sets as it is now are the class 180's from Hull Trains after their departure from there with five bi-mode class 802's replacing them. Despite their history of technical difficulties, East Midlands Railway seem to have been getting on with them well, which is a good sign considering the fact that Hull Trains hired in HST's from Great Western Railway because of it! Let's hope for better times for the 180's with East Midlands Railway eh!? I guess so and they are a welcome sight to Nottingham just for something different! As seen from there, 180109 in the interim purple and white East Midlands Railway livery with East Midlands Trains blue paint around the windows is seen arriving at Nottingham from London St Pancras before waiting time before then heading back out on the 13:12 service to the Capital.
