East Midlands Railway 43102 'The Journey Shrinker' (12.04.2021)

As the HST's are due to retire in May from the Midland Mainline one of the power cars is now in a retro Intercity livery to pay homage to the well-loved HST era and it's actually the first time I have caught up with it since lockdown as it entered service during it! A tick in the book at last though and one that will make up for the loss of the VP185 power cars with their matching HST sets! 43302, now as 43102, is seen at Nottingham Station sporting its Intercity Swallow livery whilst out on the Midland Mainline for some hard day's work. This HST power car is due to be preserved at the NRM once finished with East Midlands Railway, it joining the likes of 43002 'Sir Kenneth Grange' and 43312, now 43112.
