East Midlands Railway 222104 (04.05.2021)

Easy to identify is this 222 as it is the only one in the full purple livery and this is the first version of East Midlands Railway's full livery as the other units that are to be part of the eventual main fleet in the form of the 170's, 360's and the 810's are to adopt a different livery, with some of the 170's and 360102 now in it. 222104, also with the white passenger doors instead of the silver as worn by some of the other units, arrives at Nottingham on a service from London St Pancras before then heading on an ECS to Sheffield and as the former Grand Central HST sets are now history, the service diagrams originally worked by them have migrated to class 222 operation, one of its services in the form of the ECS move here as illustrated.
