Due to the Red Arrow being classed as a premium service, this is the only Trent Barton route not to follow the current £2 single ticket fare, which has now been extended until the end of June. 269, only repainted this year into Mango after being displaced from The Allestree, is seen at Victoria Bus Station in Nottingham waiting time, also including a bay change from 2 to 1, before departing on a Red Arrow service to Derby. In the end, this bus replaced 87, a Red Arrow branded Volvo B11RT Plaxton Elite coach, to work the route after coming off the V1, 87 of which came back on later replacing one of its fellow branded sisters in 83.
