As the Bridgford Bus branded Optare Solo SR of 354 was doing other roles on purple 87/88 along with a sky blue 47 service in between, this Y reg plate Old Optare Solo spare saw use on the 9 in its place. I would not complain here one bit as I think Bridgford Bus is Bridgford Bus with one of these buses on the network! A shame perhaps that the W reg versions left to be replaced by newer Optare Solo SR buses but this Y reg plate does make up for it to be honest! 237 is seen here in numerous shots, also including an interior shot to boot, as it gets put to good use on the 9 by spending the whole day on there with services to/from Wilford Hill and I can continue talking in terms of Y regs because 238, which spent some time on pink 30/31, was on the peak-time 17:20 departure for the 5! I suppose it would have been nice to see both of the Y regs on Bridgford Bus working all day! Fingers crossed it happens again soon though!
