Although Rushcliffe Villager has two buses branded for the route, this red spare Optare Solo SR could end up anywhere regardless of whether one of the Optare Solo SR buses for the Rushcliffe Villager route ends up off the road although it does usually act as a dedicated spare whenever that happens. With Rushcliffe Greens now no longer existant this bus, unlike the now Spondon Flyer branded Optare Solo SR buses of 501, 502 and 503 along with the Rushcliffe Villager Optare Solo SR buses of 504 and 505, was repainted into the red spare livery, hence why it can be found out and about a lot more, as here illustrates. 506 arrives at Nottingham Station bus stop on Carrington Street to pick me up while on The Keyworth to Keyworth.
