Now then, there are two Network Rail HST's with buffers for use on the test train, 43013 with 'The Railway Observer' nameplate and 43016, as illustrated here. Today saw one of the two on the test train itself and today's power car of choice was 43016, seen here trailing a test train as the set heads out from Nottingham Station led by 43062 with the 'John Armitt' nameplate.
