I think today was a Saturday service even though it was a Thurdsay and I think it is actually the 7 that usually ends up with spares during Saturday services but today was different as the 8 and the 5 had the spare buses, mind you the 8 beginning with a green spare Optare Solo SR before later unusually switching to a Navy 3 branded Optare Solo SR! 342 is seen here leaving Bridgford Road behind with a 8 to City Loop.
