Some shots from Nottingham Station on 20.04.2018 here in this one now and no freight features in any of these this time out. A request by the customer was the reason for the Kingsbury-Humber tanker train service operated by DB Cargo UK being cancelled. Also worth noting that one HST set for East Midlands Trains was reduced to seven cars. There were spare coaches available but not suitable ones, hence seven cars instead of eight and the East Midlands Trains coach A of 44071 or the Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car of 40751 wouldn't count in this case because the coaches aren't suitable. Obviously every HST set can only have one buffet car and not two! Imagine a set having two buffet cars though! I'm guessing spare coaches for East Midlands Trains are stored either at Derby Etches Park or Neville Hill depot, one of the two. I'd have to say that there were actually seat reservations on the seven car set, the set itself being an oddity on number. Oddity counts for a 150 featured here on the Nottingham/Leeds runs, so one to keep an eye out for here I guess!
