Nottingham Station Trains and Trams (13.04.2018)

Here are some shots from some of today's traction at Nottingham Station and yep, you guessed it, no Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car but for all the right reasons, meaning it was the recently refurbished buffet car of 40700 that made an appearance instead. Some of the standout shots though include a Northern 170/4 on test in former ScotRail livery, a four car 222 on the Lincoln/Leicester service amongst three 158's, an East Midlands Trains MTU HST set with mostly former Grand Central Mark III's and Network Rail's 'Flying Banana' in the form of the New Measurement HST train. A decent amount of traction although I do miss the Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car of 40751 as it was my favourite! When will it ever come out again? Not now, that's for sure!
